It’s with heartfelt sorrow, that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved son, Daniel David Perry, after a brief illness, on the 28th of February 2024 at Hartford Hospital with his father at his side.

Daniel was born to Mary and David Perry on July 1, 1980, at WW Backus Hospital in Norwich. Daniel later went on to coach his children in the Killingly Brooklyn Midget Football League, Killingly Little League and Killingly Recreation Basketball.

A talented craftsman, Daniel spent his 24 year career as a Mason working through the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 1 CT. He worked for Masonry companies throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island making many life-long friends along the way.

Besides his parents, he leaves his daughter Faith Perry, his son Mason Perry and his granddaughter, the absolute love of his life, Ensley Rose Maillot, who laughingly called him “Pooh-Pa”. He also leaves behind many cherished family members including aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Ruth Perry, his maternal grandfather Joseph Buttacavoli and cousin and best friend, Lucas Rose.

Daniel was an amazing, extraordinary man with a big heart who would drop everything to assist anyone who needed his help. He enjoyed all of his adventures and loved vacations but most of all he loved his family.
